During the Celebration of Grocers event at GIC LIVE @ HOME on Wed. Nov. 25, the industry was feted for all their work in keeping Canadians fed during this pandemic, as well the prestigious Life Member Award in the Independent Grocer category was bestowed to Dave Powell of Powell Group of Companies, Bay Roberts, N.L., and Life Member Award in the Industry Builder category was awarded to Stephen Kouri, VP Sales and Trade Marketing, Smucker Foods of Canada Corp.
