We are counsel to the plaintiffs in a class action alleging price-fixing of farmed Atlantic salmon sold in Canada. A settlement has been reached with the defendants and a hearing has been scheduled for November 30, 2023 to consider whether to approve the settlement, the fees requested and the proposed distribution of settlement funds.
As a number of your members may have purchased farmed Atlantic salmon during the class period (April 10, 2013 and February 2019), the Federal Court of Canada has approved an order that we circulate the notices to you so that you may inform your members. Copies of the court-approved English and French versions of the Notices are attached for your information.
