Celebrating 40 years this August 13th, Sunripe began in a 100 sq. ft. market in Sarnia, Ontario. Will Willemsen has been travelling to the Ontario Food Terminal several days a week to hand select produce for his store in Sarnia. Sunripe expanded with a scratch bakery and meat department and deli over the years and recently the expanded Sarnia store added a large commercial kitchen and warehouse. In 2004 Will and his wife, Ingrid, opened their second store in London, Ontario and a third in London in 2017. Ingrid has created her own line of salad dressings (family favourites) and many prepared food and bakery items that the stores all make on a daily basis. Sunripe will be celebrating with a party at each location on the weekend of August 13th.
