Today, the Government of Canada is releasing the Consultation paper: A proposed federal plastics registry for producers of plastic productsand the Consultation paper: Towards Canada-wide rules to strengthen recycling and composting of plastics through accurate labelling, which can be accessed on the Canadian Environmental Protection Act Registry. The publication of the papers is followed by a public comment period ending October 7, 2022.
Consultations through virtual engagement sessions will be held early fall. If you are interested in participating in these sessions please contact us via email. We will notify you once registration is open.
