I write to advise that further to consultation with the Claims Administrator and notice to the courts, an extension has been granted to small and medium merchants that missed the September 30, 2022 deadline to submit an undocumented or simplified claim. The deadline has now been extended to December 30, 2022. This is a one-time extension and no further extensions will be granted. The claims deadline for large merchants was previously extended to December 30, 2022 also.
Please feel free to bring the above-noted deadline extension to the attention of your members.
