In April, a number of egg producers announced they were bringing in price increases that would be effective in early May. As a result, CFIG raised concerns with the producers about the timing of such an increase, recommending that however justified it may be, the scheduled increases be pushed back.
As a result, CFIG is pleased that egg producers have responded in a positive way to our feedback with a push back in the date of the price increase to late June.
